The ML-1210 was a little faster than the Lexmark printer for the 12-page Word file, at 9.8 ppm (a 6-second difference). The printer performed a bit slower, though, for most other tests. The PowerPoint file, for example, took 48.7 seconds, compared with the E210's 48.1 seconds. But the difference was slight enough overall that the two printers essentially tied for performance. And, of course, both are much faster than ink jets for text.
